We understand that many clients do not want to spend time in court, so we try to reach effective settlements to help get cases resolved and avoid court all together. But, sometimes there is no option but to engage in litigation. In these circumstances, we fight. We have successfully represented clients in a variety of breach of contract, fraud, negligence, lease disputes, partnership disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and debt collection matters. We practice primarily in Texas state court but also have experience with handling cases in federal court, bankruptcy court, administrative courts, arbitration panels, and certain appellate courts.
We assist bank clients in all aspects of a loan, including the preparation of loan documents, reviewing information received from a borrower, and assisting with closing transactions. We excel at representing lenders in transactions involving real estate collateral. We are familiar with convention and SBA loans. We routinely are retained to resolve complex issues pre-closing for banks. We pride ourselves with our long relationships with our bank clients.
Our Title Insurance and Closing Services team consists of experienced professionals who provide competence and security to our clients. We are a closing office of Chicago Title and provide title insurance from the most reputable and largest title insurance company. We focus on attentive customer service and due to our experience and other practice areas, are able to help clients in a strategic manner with regards to title insurance, curing title defects, litigation related to title, and other title matters.
Leases are breached all the time. We represent commercial tenants and landlords in eviction proceedings and other landlord-tenant related litigation. Proceeding without an attorney during an eviction is risky due to the myriad of technical requirements. We have represented landlords and tenants in eviction matters, including representing clients in jury trials and eviction appeals. We also defend and prosecute lease related claims in litigation giving us an edge in assisting clients on both sides of a lease.
We are involved on a daily basis in assisting our clients with real estate and business transactions, commercial leases, incorporation services, employment agreements, asset transactions and general contract formation. Because we prepare and review so many of these agreements and documents for our clients, we aim to provide quick turn-around and maintain reasonable prices. We excel at reviewing title commitments and advising our clients on concerning matters. We represent key real estate developers in development projects.
We assist new and existing companies, investment groups, real estate partnerships, and investment funds form entities based on their business and tax strategies. We also draft company agreements, bylaws, partnership agreements, and other incorporation agreements to ensure that our clients have everything in order to move forward with their exciting venture or project.
