We assist banks and lenders in all aspects of a loan, including the preparation of loan documents, reviewing information received from a borrower, reviewing title work, and assisting with closing transactions.  We excel at representing lenders in transactions involving real estate collateral. We are familiar with convention and SBA loans. We routinely are retained to resolve complex issues pre-closing for banks. We pride ourselves with providing a quick-turn around time on loan document preparation.

Our Title Insurance and Closing Services team consists of experienced professionals who provide competence and security to our clients.  We are a closing office of Chicago Title and provide title insurance from the most reputable and largest title insurance company in the country.  We focus on attentive customer service and due to our experience and other practice areas, are able to help clients in a strategic manner with regards to title insurance, curing title defects, litigation related to title, and other title matters.

We try to work-out disputes without expensive litigation. But, sometimes there is no option but to engage in order to reach the best possible outcome for a client. In these circumstances, we fight.  We have successfully represented clients in a variety of breach of contract, fraud, negligence, lease disputes, partnership disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and debt collection matters.  We practice primarily in Texas state court but also have experience with handling cases in federal court, bankruptcy court, administrative courts, arbitration panels, and certain appellate courts.

We are involved on a daily basis in assisting our clients with real estate and business transactions, commercial leases, incorporation services, employment agreements, asset transactions and general contract formation. Because we prepare and review so many of these agreements and documents for our clients, we aim to provide quick turn-around and maintain reasonable prices. We excel at reviewing title commitments and advising our clients on concerning matters. We represent key real estate developers in development projects.

Our firm works with owners, investors, developers, lenders, landlords and tenants to identify, assess, and address issues and opportunities that arise in connection with the acquisition, disposition, restructuring, repositioning and workout of distressed real estate assets. Our timely support to our customers minimizes the risk of losses & maximizes their returns. We often achieve these goals without resorting to the courts. We regularly represent lenders and borrowers in restructurings and reorganizations, including by negotiating and documenting forbearance agreements, loan modifications and agreements with third parties (including agreements involving third-party equity injections).
