Tim Forgerson is a founding attorney of Bajaria & Forgerson Law Group and spent nearly forty years representing banks, creditors, and lending institutions in a wide range of commercial lending matters. Over the course of his distinguished career, Tim advised financial institutions on the preparation of loan documents, syndicated lending transactions, and complex lending arrangements involving sophisticated collateral structures. Throughout his career, Tim developed longstanding relationships within Dallas’s SBA lending community and the Asian business district surrounding the Harry Hines corridor, where he became a trusted advisor to banks, lenders, and business owners involved in commercial lending and real estate transactions.
In addition to his banking and lending practice, Tim developed extensive experience in commercial real estate and transactional law, having been involved in thousands of commercial transactions during multiple economic cycles. His work included advising clients on complex title insurance matters, title strategies, and curing title defects, drawing on decades of experience serving as a fee attorney handling high-volume real estate transactions. Tim was a long-time fee attorney working with many title companies including most recently with Chicago Title. As a founding attorney of the Firm, Tim was instrumental in training, development, and transitioning his practice to other attorneys and staff at the Firm.
Tim received his law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1981.
Tim retired from the practice of law after a long and respected career. His legacy continues to shape the firm’s banking, real estate, and title practice.
